Dr. Om Prakash Bhandari, MS, MRSH (London), FAIS, is a Consultant Surgeon and Director of Dr. Bhandari Piles Hospital (Manish Nursing Home), Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, and Professor of Surgery.
He completed his MBBS in 1976 and his MS in General Surgery in 1980, both at R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur, and was elected a Member of the Royal Society of Health, London (MRSH) in 1984. He began his career in the Government of Rajasthan's medical service, before moving into academic surgery as Assistant Professor at NIMS Medical College, Jaipur, and Associate Professor at Pacific Medical College, Udaipur, prior to his appointment as Professor of Surgery. He is currently also Honorary Consultant Surgeon at M.P. Birla Hospital and Research Centre.
